Yoga means, “to yoke” or “to unite.” Simply put, we are uniting mind, body and spirit. We are uniting body and breathe. We are uniting ourselves our Higher Self.

Yoga has many physical benefits including improved posture, flexibility, body awareness, increased muscle strength and tone, and agility. Other physical benefits include improved balance, resistance from injury, healthy joints, lower blood pressure, spinal health, longevity, improved energy and vitality, and cardiovascular health increase.

Yoga also has many mental health benefits including reduced stress, reduced anxiety, improved mood, increased mindfulness, a deeper sense of self, increased confidence, and deeper focus. Yoga also has numerous other benefits including fostering community, self-love, acceptance and compassion. Yoga also helps you make healthier lifestyle choices.

Yoga is like dance; there are so many styles of yoga, there is something for everyone! Hatha yoga helps us to connect to our mind, body and breathe. Restorative yoga helps us move slowly and feel supported. Vinyasa yoga helps us to move and flow through life with more ease. Yin yoga teaches us the benefit of stillness and deep breathing. Gentle yoga teaches us to be gentle with ourselves and others. Beginner’s yoga reminds us that we are all beginners and can take time to learn.

  • One-on-One Yoga Classes

    Personalized instruction from Katie that is customized to your individual needs. This is a great option for those new to yoga, those with special needs or limitations, or those who prefer deeper accountability and connection with their teacher. Single sessions are available, but the best option is working with Katie weekly or bi-weekly for at least a month to deepen your practice and foster lifestyle growth.

  • Private Group Yoga

    Groups of two or more receive a specialty class customized to your group’s needs, desires, personal goals, and requests. Yoga is so fun with loved ones. This is perfect for groups of friends, colleges, couples, or family members seeking a peaceful, transformative experience. Great for girl’s weekends, birthday parties, cabin parties, corporate events, and private parties.

  • Retreat and Wellness Experiences

    Retreating is a great opportunity to withdraw from the norms of day-to-day life and experience peace, bliss and relaxation in a fresh, new, and relaxing environment. Katie offers a curated experience for you and your retreat guests or companions. Retreats are a special, sacred and safe space where growth happens. Katie offers two options: 1. She is your special guest teacher offering one or more classes, workshops, offerings at your retreat bringing a variety of yoga, henna and/or art to your retreat OR 2. Katie curates a custom retreat experience for you and your guests and organizes aspects of the retreat itinerary including yoga classes, specialty workshops, ceremonies, opening and closing circle.
